The Queer BTown Fund is a donor-advised fund (DAF) housed at the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County and managed by members of the Queer BTown group. Rooted in community values and collective care, the fund exists to support education, outreach, and services that uplift LGBTQ+ people and strengthen queer community life in Bloomington and Monroe County.
From helping young people access affirming resources, to supporting grassroots community initiatives, the Queer BTown Fund is one way we invest in each other and our future.
What We Support
The fund is dedicated to projects and efforts that:
- Promote LGBTQ+ education and awareness
- Provide direct support to LGBTQ+ individuals, especially those facing systemic barriers
- Foster inclusion, connection, and resilience across our queer communities
- Help build long-term capacity for LGBTQ+ community development in our region
